Gyproc CoreBoard is a 19mm moisture and fire resistant plasterboard that helps prevent damage to shafts. It makes up the lining component in GypWall Shaft systems.
As well as reducing noise, the board boosts fire protection and resists moisture to help protect shafts during both construction and use.
It fits seamlessly into the retaining channel, allowing you to quickly and easily build the GypWall Shaft system from one side.
- Excellent fire and moisture resistance
- Stops unwanted noise travelling into other parts of the building
- Helps protect shafts during construction
- Main lining component of GypWall Shaft systems

|StandardsEN 520:2004+A1:2009,Gypsum plasterboards. Definitions, requirements and test methods||Standard typesType D,These boards have a controlled density, with a face to which suitable gypsum plasters or decoration may be applied. This enables improved performance in certain applications to be obtained.|
|Standard typesType F,Plasterboard with a face to which suitable gypsum plasters or decoration may be applied. These boards have mineral fibres and/or other additives in the gypsum core to improve core cohesion at high temperatures.|
|Standard typesType H1,Boards which have additives to reduce the water absorption rate. They may be suitable for special applications in which reduced water absorption properties are required to improve the performance of the board. For the purposes of identification, these boards are designated Type H1, H2 and H3, with different water absorption performance.|
