Walsall College builds cost-effective campus
We shared our technical expertise by providing on-site guidance during the Walsall College project.
This project at Walsall college focused on collaborating more effectively to ensure correct specification requirements were achieved, to reduce material cost of wall types as well as provide on-site technical guidance and warranties.
Working with the main contractor, we completed a value-engineering exercise on the partitioning works package. The aim was to reduce the package cost whilst maintaining system performance, improve ‘buildability’ and reduce overall installation costs.
By working closely with the main contractor’s site team, our Technical Support Manager, Nick Jones, visited the site on 27 occasions, ensuring all partition and ceiling systems were installed correctly.
