Description

FireCase is a frameless structural steel encasement system that provides passive fire protection in accordance with BS EN 13381-4:2013 to a range of universal beam, column and joist sizes. Glasroc F FireCase boards can be fixed to one another without the need for additional framing.

Our steel protection systems are tested to BS EN 13381-4:2013 to provide passive fire protection to structural steel columns, beams and joists and can be finished with standard methods of finishing; tape and joint or Thistle skim plaster, to match surrounding elements.

  • Frameless encasement system that provides passive fire protection to structural steel.
  • FireCase systems are protected by our SpecSure lifetime warranty.
  • Fire resistance performance from 30-120 minutes to BS EN 13381-4 and BS EN 13381-9 for a range of beam, column and joist sizes including solid and castellated beams.
  • Airbourne acoustic transmission and thermal insulation can be maintained with detailing of abutments between GypWall partition systems and FireCase encasements.
  • Glasroc F FireCase boards can be screw-fixed to one another without the need for other components.
  • Pre-cut widths of Glasroc F FireCase are available (subject to minimum order quantity).
