Below you’ll find all of the information needed to complete wall lining, partition, floor and ceiling systems, no matter the size and complexity of the project specification.
What is the thermal conductivity of Gyproc ThermaLine laminates?
Our Gyproc ThermaLine laminates comprise of Gyproc WallBoard (thermal conductivity 0.19 W/mK) and rigid foam insulation (thermal conductivity ranges from 0.02 to 0.04 W/mK depending on type). Therefore we do not quote a composite thermal conductivity value but do quote a composite thermal resistance value (m2 K/W).
Duty ratings are a method of determining the robustness of a non-loadbearing partition system. There are four performance categories (Light duty for domestic use, medium for offices, heavy for public circulation areas and severe for major circulation areas).
If the plasterboard wall is unpainted an application of a single coat of Gyproc Drywall Sealer is recommended before wallpapering. This will make steam-stripping easier when you come to redecorate in the future.
At what centres are a Gypframe RB1 Resilient Bars installed within partitions & ceilings?
Gypframe RB1 Resilient Bars are commonly positioned at a maximum 600mm centres in our partitions (400mm centres for ceramic tiling), and at maximum 450mm centres in our ceilings.
