No. To achieve a 15kg maximum safe working load as tested (60kg ultimate failure load per fixing), we recommend the use of a No. 10 woodscrew comprising of a single thread. Fixings with cross threads (for example those used for fixing chipboard) will reduce fixing performance of the board. You also need to ensure the woodscrew does not have a threadless shank (the thread needs to go all the way to the head of the screw).
The length of the screw used should be sufficient to pass through the fixture being mounted and needs to fully penetrate the board whilst ensuring it does not come into contact pipes and cables etc that could be located in the cavity behind the board.
