Non-loadbearing timber stud partitions

Timber frame construction is well established in the UK and British Gypsum products are used extensively to form the internal elements.

Timber frame internal partitions are used in both new-build and refurbishment projects, and are often specified as fire and sound resisting walls in residential applications to meet requirements of national building regulations.

Gyproc plasterboards are used to line the timber stud framing, and Isover insulation products can be used to further enhance the sound insulation performance.
