Saint-Gobain Build Better Academy - Erith
The Saint-Gobain Build Better Academy at Erith is the longest serving training facility, delivering Thistle plasters and drywall systems training since it opened in 1966.
Facilities include classrooms and a practical area for wet and dry training, and offers a mix of hands-on and theory-based courses covering a range of subjects including internal and external acoustic and thermal insulation, drylining, plastering and flooring.

Directions
- Take junction 1A on the M25
- Immediately on the south side of the Dartford tunnel, follow the A206 signposted to Erith
- At the roundabout in Erith after McDonalds take the A2016 signposted Thamesmead (Bronze Age Way)
- Take the first exit - B213 signposted Belvedere Keep to the right on the slip road and follow signs to Church Manorway industrial estate
- Our building is the first entrance on the right in Church Manorway
There is a private car park at the Centre. If travelling by rail, our nearest British Rail Station is Erith, on the Charing Cross line out of London.
