Apprentices could win PS4 with #BGshoutout competition
Be in with a chance of winning one of five PS4s and tour our Gypsum mines
British Gypsum is celebrating the success of its Learning Hub by asking apprentices across the country to share their best work using the hashtag #BGshoutout.
The company is rolling out the competition to budding plasterers in 69 further education colleges to celebrate the great work they are producing and be in with a chance of winning one of five PS4s and a tour of the one of its gypsum mines.
The Learning Hub was initially launched in 2013 to support the next generation of plasterers in becoming industry-ready through training courses and access to the latest products, resources and industry expertise.
Dave Hall, Training Partnerships Director at British Gypsum, explains: “The Learning Hub has proved to be a robust system in supporting colleges, helping students become industry ready and most importantly, closing the gap between manufacturers and education providers.
We have seen some great quality work that apprentices across the country have produced, using the latest materials on the market, so it makes sense to share the work and achievements as wide as possible and show off what apprentices really are capable of.”
To enter, apprentices are asked to upload images or videos of their best work to Vine, Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #BGshoutout. British Gypsum will be supplying regular themes to give the apprentices an idea of the work they would like to see to ensure there is a good mix of all skills. Five lucky winners will then be selected and awarded with a brand new PS4 and a tour of the British Gypsum mines.
Please note that this competition is now closed.
