Gyproc Habito Corners: new name, same great product

Date: 31 May 2019

Gyproc No-Coat Flex Tape has just become Gyproc Habito Corners, and you’ll start to see the new packaging very soon.

Got questions about what this means for you? Don’t worry, we’ve already answered them!

Why the name change?

Gyproc Habito is our strongest and most durable board, so it’s only right that our toughest tape shares this reputation.

The tape’s high-strength co-polymer core offers a robust, uniform surface that won’t split or dent. This means fewer call-backs due to issues with corner tape.

Is the product any different?

While the packaging now looks very different, we haven’t made any changes to the product itself.

Is there a new EAN number?

Gyproc Habito Corners will continue to use the same EAN number as before, and there will be no changes to the ordering process.

When will I see the new packaging?

We started introducing the new packaging in late April, so you should see it within the next few weeks if you haven’t already.

Can Gyproc Habito Corners only be used with Gyproc Habito?

While Gyproc Habito Corners shares Gyproc Habito plasterboard’s superior strength, the corner tape can be used with all boards. As the product itself hasn’t changed, you can use it in exactly the same way as Gyproc No-Coat Flex Tape.
