Bat Hotel at Bunny Old Wood
We’re just batty about helping local wildlife to thrive. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust to create a new “bat hotel” in Bunny Old Wood, and we’re now asking you to help us name their new home.
Our work with the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust began in 1985, when we gifted ownership of Bunny Old Wood – found near our headquarters – to the trust. Our goal is to build positive legacies for the communities living and working around our sites, and so far, we have used our knowledge and expertise to assist several local charities, including projects that protect wildlife and restore biodiversity across the UK.
To date, we have invested in a number of wildlife habitats for birds, bees and butterflies. The new Bat Hotel will provide roosting and nesting opportunities for our flighty friends, encouraging them to hang around.
Do you value nature as much as we do? Then tell us what you think our new Bat Hotel should be named.
