Environmental Product Declarations

Helping you choose sustainable solutions

Our EPDs show you the environmental impact of our products throughout their lifetime. This lets you choose sustainable solutions that meet your clients; goals, and help you achieve environmental labels such as BREEAM and LEED.

What is LCA?

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is the reference method for measuring a product’s environmental impact. It measures the impact of various environmental categories; these include fossil fuel depletion, climate change, water extraction and waste disposal across a product’s whole life cycle. An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is produced which communicates the environmental data generated from the LCA.

We currently have a number of EPD which are available to download. We also have a dedicated team developing further EPD. Without any changes to products raw materials, EPD remain valid for five years.

Why is LCA important?

Our EPD mean that you can see the measured environmental impact at each stage of our products life from the extraction of raw materials through to the recycling phase at the end of a products life.

This transparent document and accreditation contributes to most building industry environmental labels, including BREEAM and LEED, gaining you points simply by using the products.
