Frequently asked question

Which partition types provide high acoustic performance with minimum impact to space?

GypWall CLASSIC using Gypframe AcouStuds, GypWall QUIET SF and GypWall STAGGERED all provide a high level of sound insulation with minimum impact to space.

  • GypWall CLASSIC is a lightweight non-loadbearing drywall partition system, providing cost-effective, multi-purpose solutions suitable for all types of buildings. Optimised acoustic performance for a given footprint can be achieved through the use of Gypframe AcouStuds. Please refer to WHITE BOOK Chapter 04 Section 02 Page 02 for further details.
  • GypWall STAGGERED is a non-loadbearing stud partition incorporating a single framework with staggered studs. This provides very high levels of sound insulation with minimal footprint. Please refer to WHITE BOOK Chapter 04 Section 06 Page 02 for further details.
  • GypWall QUIET SF is a non-loadbearing partition, which provides high levels of sound insulation achieved through the use of Gypframe RB1 Resilient Bar to provide a high degree of isolation between the Gypframe 'C' Studs and the high performance Gyproc plasterboard lining. Please refer to WHITE BOOK Chapter 04 Section 05 Page 02 for further details.
