Speed Tape Mechanical Jointing
3 day course
Three day course that teaches the use and basic maintenance
of Gyproc Speed Tape tools. Suitable for larger contracts,
SpeedTape tools provide a consistent high quality finish.
Objectives
1. Understand how the autotaper tools work.
2. Be able to select the appropriate choice of
tools, full set or half set.
3. Be proficient in the use of the Speed
Tape tool.
4. Be able to complete minor repiars and
adjustments.
At the end of the course trainees will receive a Certificate of
Attendance from the Drywall Academy as part evidence towards the
relevant NVQ unit.
Suitability
Trainees should have undertaken the Hand Jointing course or have
had site experience of drywall finishing.
Teaching method
Extensive practical use of Speed Tape tools under the close
supervision of an instructor. Recapping knowledge questions at
the end of the course.
Programme
Training begins at 9:30am on day one and finishes at 3:30pm on
day three.
