Q: British Gypsum has a
comprehensive range of ceiling tiles - can you provide some
information about the range of tiles that are
available?
A: The range aims to give the specifier, the
ceiling installer and the client more choice of ceiling finishes
and systems. The range comprises of a series of different types of
ceiling tiles each providing a wide variety of physical and
aesthetic benefits.
Gyptone tiles & planks are suitable for use in situations where
metal or soft mineral fibre systems may previously have been
specified. They feature geometric designs, and integral sound
absorbent tissue backing.
Gyptone boards feature geometric designs, and integral sound
absorbent tissue backing. Standard jointing techniques are used to
provide a jointless finish on site.
Decogips is a decorative textured ceiling tile manufactured from
Glass fibre reinforced gypsum.
Casoprano is a pre-finished white gypsum suspended tile available
in a choice of smooth, textured or patterned finishes to suit every
budget.
Gyprex tiles are white PVC faced gypsum tiles that can be wiped
clean - particularly suitable for use in hygienic areas.
Rigitone perforated boards are manufactured from gypsum
plasterboards and include an extensive range of high-quality and
acoustically effective boards that provide a seamless monolithic
appearance.
