Q: Are Gyproc Jack-Point screws
similar to Gyproc Drywall screws?
A: Yes, Gyproc Jack-Point screws are corrosion
resistant, self-drilling, self tapping zinc plated screws with a
countersunk cross-head and a drill point. They are suitable for
fixing Gyproc MultiBoard or Gyproc plasterboards to Gypframe metal
components.
Use Gyproc Drywall screws for fixing ‘C’ studs and associated
framing up to and including 0.7mm gauge (e.g. 60 S 70), and for
fixing to ‘I’ studs up to and including 0.5mm gauge (e.g. 70 I
50).
Use Gyproc Jack-Point screws for fixing ‘C’ studs and associated
framing 0.8mm gauge or greater (e.g. 92 S 10), and for fixing to
‘I’ studs 0.7mm gauge or greater (e.g. 70 I 70).
