La Fregate
Restaurant in St.Helier, Jersey
Main Focus
The main focus was for function and materials to be
subservient to shape in this radical design of a beached fish with
gull wings. The hull form of the building curves in section but not
in plan.
Challenge
The challenge was the changing and tightening radii that
form the bulge of a two level service zone.
Solution
The finish to the Glasroc MultiBoard was 2mm Thistle
Multi-Finish plaster used in conjunction with Gyproc Control
Joint section to reduce any risk of cracking through movement.
Glasroc MultiBoard can cope with the
incredible hull
