Recycling
The Plasterboard Recycling Customer Service Charter was first
introduced in June 2004. A Plasterboard Recycling Service has
been provided to British Gypsum’s Housebuilder Customers for the
past three years. This involves delivering bags to housing
site, and subsequently collecting the bags when filled with
plasterboard scrap. The scrap is then sorted and returned to
British Gypsum works for recycling.
British Gypsum is now in the process of rolling out the
Plasterboard Recycling Service (PRS) to its Commercial
Customers. As a consequence the Customer Service Charter
requires updating to amend the wording and the graphics so that
they reflect that the service will now cover housing and
commercial.
