Working with the FMB
British Gypsum has been working with builders for over a
century. We established the British Gypsum Drywall Academy to
provide training and advice to the whole construction industry and
to ensure the users of our products, whether dryliners, plasterers,
or builders, can maximise the results they achieve.
It’s therefore vital to us that we support the
builder and in turn help them to improve the image of the building
trade. To show our commitment we’re working with the Federation of
Master Builders (FMB) to help promote the good work of the small
builder.
The FMB is the UK’s largest trade association
and represents over 13,000 small-medium building companies. It
works hard to promote standards of excellence among its members and
also advises homeowners on how to spot a good builder.
The FMB’s Master Builder of the Year awards
help to celebrate the best in the industry, and clients nominate
builders who have performed outstandingly well on their building
project. The awards are open to all builders who carry out
small-medium renovation works and not just FMB members.
British Gypsum sponsors category three of the
Master Builder of the Year awards, for medium renovation projects.
This award is for professional residential or domestic restoration,
refurbishment or extension costing between £50,000 to £250,000 and
we look forward to announcing this year’s winner in November. Good
luck to all entries!
