Corrosion resistant self-tapping steel screws for fixing metal to metal framing less than 0.8mm thick
Corrosion-resistant self-tapping zinc plated steel screws with wafer cross head. Supplied with screwdriver bits. Designed for metal-to-metal fixing less than 0.8mm thick and Gypframe ‘I’ Stud framing less than 0.6mm thick. Designed for minimum disruption of the plasterboard lining. Minimum order quantity is one carton. Conforms to EN 14566.
Suitable for fixing Gypframe metal to Gypframe metal framing less than 0.8mm gauge ('I' studs less than 0.6mm gauge). For thicker gauges of Gypframe use British Gypsum Wafer Head Jack-Point Screws.
Supplied with one high performance bit.
Complies with BS EN 14566, the European standard relating to drywall fixings.

How do you increase the height of Gypframe metal stud?
By ‘splicing’ two studs together with an overlap of 600mm minimum, fix together using Wafer Head Drywall Screws (two to each flange).
