How do you upgrade the fire and/or acoustic performance of a timber floor from below

There is a range of British Gypsum ceiling systems, Gypframe RB1 Resilient BarGypLyner UNIVERSAL ceiling and CasoLine MF ceiling systems, incorporating Gyproc SoundBloc or Gyproc FireLine board in conjunction with Isover insulation. Please refer to the ceiling section of the White Book for further information if required.

How do I acoustically upgrade an existing masonry wall?

Use Gyproc SoundBloc board and Isover insulation within GypLyner IWL or GypLyner UNIVERSAL systems or use Gyproc TriLine fixed by the DriLyner SI or DriLyner RF system. Selection depends on a number of factors such as type of background, height of lining and performance requirements and board type. Please refer to the relevant sections of the White Book for further information if required.
