What can cause acoustic failures?

Sound insulation failures can be caused by air leakage paths, flanking transmission, inappropriate specification and poor workmanship.

How do I acoustically upgrade an existing masonry wall?

Use Gyproc SoundBloc board and Isover insulation within GypLyner IWL or GypLyner UNIVERSAL systems. Selection depends on a number of factors such as type of background, height of lining and performance requirements and board type. Please refer to the relevant sections of the White Book for further information if required.

How do you upgrade the fire and/or acoustic performance of a timber floor from below?

We offer a wide range of ceiling systems for this purpose including GypLyner UNIVERSAL and CasoLine MF.
