Hard Hats Awards 2009
British Gypsum has won the Construction Product Manufacturer of
the Year Award in the ‘Hard Hats’ Construction Industry Awards
2009. The entry detailed the company’s exceptional achievements in
World Class Manufacturing, sustainability and innovation
including:
- The East Leake WCM Bronze award
- The company’s instrumental involvement in the creation of the
Ashdown Agreement and its significant contribution to achieving the
results
- ISO 14001: 2004 certification
- Product and service innovations around GypWall EXTREME, Thistle
Durafinish and the WHITE BOOK Education sector guide.
The achievement follows an extensive three-round selection
process, in which the Awards are judged by an independent panel of
eminent industry experts, chosen for their expertise across the
construction industry.
