British Gypsum help revitalise historic cricket pavilion

West Bridgfordians Cricket Club has transformed its club house into a social hub for the community thanks to British Gypsum’s Thistle Magnetic Plaster.

The magnetic walls were introduced as part of wider refurbishment to help the Nottinghamshire-based team improve communication of club news with both players and local residents.

The 86-year-old institution uses the magnetic walls in several ways, including listing teams for upcoming games, posting training information for nearly 300 junior members, and showcasing newspaper coverage and awards. In addition, the walls are also used to display information on the various social events the club hosts throughout the year.

Lyndon Hayes, Treasurer at West Bridgfordians Cricket Club, said: “The walls are a really useful addition to the pavilion and have made it a lot easier to share the latest club information and keep up to date with what’s going on. I think visiting teams are also pretty impressed too!”
