Steelwork encasement systems
British Gypsum encasements give an assured
level of fire protection to structural steelwork. They present high
quality claddings with or without supplementary framing. The
systems employ either direct board to board fixing or are based on
the lightweight steel framework clad with fire protective boards
and are fully compatible with lightweight partitions, wall linings
and ceiling systems.
The GypLyner and FireCase steel
encasement systems are high quality cladding systems, which provide
up to two hours fire protection to structural steel. They will
protect virtually all forms of steelwork including universal
columns and beams, joists, portal frames, and castellated beam
sections. The systems can be used in all types of commercial and
industrial building with exposed structural steelwork.
