Floor, ceiling and soffit systems
British Gypsum supports a full range of
specifications from simple plasterboard ceilings through to a range
of gypsum-based, decorative suspended ceilings and lay-in grid
systems. They cover all building categories in both new-build and
refurbishment and can satisfy the most exacting performance
requirements. British Gypsum plasterboard ceilings can also be
specified as a membrane to protect roof trusses in loft spaces. A
number of sound insulating solutions are given for remedial
treatments in conversion work. These include the
GypFloor SILENT
sound-insulating floor system, which provides a means of upgrading
the floor construction and optimising the performance of the
ceiling lining, without damaging original decorative details.
British Gypsum acoustic ceiling tiles are
designed to fulfil a requirement in the commercial sector for more
imaginative and flexible ceiling designs.
