Plasterboard plant
Originally built in 1876 for the manufacture of plaster, the
Robertsbridge plant converted to plasterboard manufacture during
the 1970's, when a new mill and board line were constructed.
In 2003 a £7.3million investment at the plant extended capacity
by 30%.

From the M25 (via the Dartford Crossing)
- Exit at junction 5 and take A21 south to Hastings
Caution! M25 splits into 4 lanes - A21 follows
outside 2 lanes
- Turn right onto A2100 at John's Cross
- Follow signs to Battle
- Turn right after railway crossing onto works access road and
follow local signs
From the M25 (anti-clockwise)
- Exit at Junction 5 and follow directions as above.
From Worthing and Brighton
- Take A27 to Lewes
- Follow signs to Battle
Turn left onto A2100 at mini-roundabout in Battle
- Follow signs to London
Turn left before railway crossing onto Works road and follow local
signs
From M20 (via Maidstone)
- Exit at Junction 7
- Follow signs to Centre
- Take A229 and follow signs to Town Centre
- Continue on A229 and follow signs to Hawkhurst
- Carry straight on at Hawkhurst
- Follow signs to Hastings
- Turn right onto A2100 at John's Cross and follow directions as
above.
From M20 (via Ashford)
- If coming from Channel Tunnel continue on M20 and exit at
Junction 9, Ashford. Follow local signs to A28 and continue to
Hawkhurst. Follow directions as above.
