Training

Market leading and comprehensive training for installers and stockists of our products and systems

From short duration training courses to specialist upskilling courses and modern apprenticeships in drylining, we ensure we deliver training to meet industry needs in working with Companies and the sector skills council for Construction, the CITB. We have a policy of continuous development to ensure our training courses align with the skills that trades people require to support their personal development for a career in construction, now and in the future.

A similar approach is used in designing courses for Builders' Merchants and Distributors of our products and systems. Courses are designed to increase knowledge around customer needs in meeting building regulation requirements and solutions for customers, in addition to providing practical guidance on installing our range of products and systems to ensure sales to customers cover all the product components required.

Courses can also be developed and tailored for individual company needs if requested.

Saint-Gobain Technical Academy training courses are run by fully qualified instructors in purpose designed lecture rooms and practical training areas at Kirkby Thore near Penrith, East Leake near Nottingham, Erith in Kent, and Clevedon near Bristol. Alternatively, you can talk to your British Gypsum sales representative about in-branch training.

Our aim is to provide high quality training which enables attendees to develop knowledge in delivering customer solutions with our range of plaster, ceiling and drywall systems. With Construction Skills training grants available for eligible companies or individuals, this is the best value training available.
